realme is hosting a nighttime photowalk contest for young photographers
Young people’s favorite brand, Realme, has come up with a nighttime photowalk contest for smartphone enthusiasts who like to capture stunning moments with their cell phones to give them the opportunity to unleash their creativity.
This competition will create a new platform and bring photography enthusiasts together with a renowned photographer who will share their knowledge and build their photography skills, a press release said on Monday.
In the first stage of this campaign, photography enthusiasts across the country were invited to submit their profile. The call was also open to different online photography communities. From hundreds of submissions, realme selected 16 photographers for a photo walk.
The competition was led by renowned photographer Avijit Nandy, who has won various photography competitions including the BBC Buzz Photography Competition, the 3rd Annual DUPS Photography Exhibition in the Nature and Lifestyle category and the IIUPE 2008.
Avijit Nandy will host an online workshop for the selected photographers to enlighten them on different tips and tricks to take the best photo with their smartphone, according to the release.
And then, the selected photographers will be taken on a photo walk to put their photography skills to the test.
Photos must be captured in 4 categories – Night Nature, Street Photography, Night Portrait and Night Creative.
Avijit Nandy will also take photos in these categories. Two college photography clubs will collaborate on this campaign by providing their unique and fresh perspective with their photos, the statement added.
The most interesting part of this contest is that the photos in these 4 categories will be captured with realme’s upcoming 9 pro series smartphones.
The competition is expected to stimulate the creativity of young mobile photography enthusiasts and help them explore the night world in a different way.
