Text description provided by the architects. To create a residence with a sense of calm, with its privacy vis-à-vis the environment, the plan seeks to enclose the garden space. Additionally, to diversify and enrich the interconnection between interior and exterior, several living spaces are incorporated into the design, characterized by varying senses of distance from the garden.

Extensive use of premium Japanese-grown hinoki cypress lends the space a pleasant, cozy air and fills it with the scent of sturdy wood. A ground-level indoor terrace space called the doma lounge is located close to the garden, a layout intended to serve as an integration of indoors and outdoors.
