This record is considered not to be from an actual earthquake, as there is no officially confirmed earthquake that sufficiently matches the user reports we have received of the reported event.
In most cases, this event likely reflects something else that caused the tremors, such as an explosion (typical for mining areas), sound boom, traffic, weather, or some other human or natural cause.

Route Payette Cox (0 km SE of epicenter) [Map] / Weak shaking (MMI III) / Single side shake / 1-2 s : I am in my motorhome along the Snake River. It was like a wind that made my motorhome move at moderate intervals. Half a second to 3 seconds a few minutes apart mabey 8-10 times yesterday and today, the last was felt around 12:30 p.m. Also, there was water bubbling in the Snake River around 6:00 a.m. tonight I don’t know if this has to do with an earthquake or a sink hole or maybe just the river is going up after this whole area is an old gravel bar
